Stopped over to see Dave yesterday(Monday), he is at the new rehab center across from Texas Roadhouse. He seemed to be doing much better than last week, he has started PT and OT, which can be physically very challenging. His room is E-154, and most certainly would enjoy your company. You gotta see his toilet, state of the art, and how they engineer the rooms is pretty impressive, and most probably pretty expensive. I think he'll be there for 10-12 more days. He's looking forward to getting back on his feet, and eventually, getting out fishing. I don't recall him saying anything about Blackcloud's boat, I think he was looking for something a little larger, that moves a little slower, to facilitate slower fishing. Anyway, he would most certainly enjoy anybody who could find the time to visit, and help him pass the time. He'looking much improved, he lost some weight, plans to shed even more, get more active, and improve his lifestyle. Good luck and good health to Dave, we'll keep him in our prayers.
Latest report has Dave going home tomorrow, Saturday, Jan 30, 2010. I'm quite sure he is quite anxious to exit the rehab, and return to the comforts of his humble abode. Everyone needs to keep him in their prayers, for he has a very challenging road ahead of him, to get back to work in 12 weeks. Don't worry, I'm sure he can do it. Best wishes from the Moore Family for a complete, fast, and pain free recovery. PS...... last time I was in to see him, he was pitchin a jig and pig into his super bowl. You had to see it, to believe it. Good luck!!!!!!!
Want to thank Mike and Dan for the visits. Also Mike for the food, the rehab food has to be some of the most blend food I ever eaten. They cook with no spices and every thing is so dry. Not much on the menue to choose from.
On the road to rehab at home, every day gets a little better. I think it is going to be a long time before I decide to get the other knee replaced, didn't expect this much down time and having to reley on other's help with every day things.
Dave
Just get healthy again, so you can join us to go fishing.
Jogging, I thought I would see you in the olympic ice dancing event, or better yet in the short track speed skating, battling Apollo Ohno.
